STORING COFFEE

The most significant cause of flavor loss is exposure to air, which causes the oils responsible for coffee’s aroma and flavor to evaporate. For this reason, coffee should always be stored in an airtight container.

Whole coffee beans store much better and longer than ground. If possible coffee beans should be ground just before use.
