The Rock Creek Trading Post  is located in one of the oldest building in the small farming community of Rock Creek. The building is a log structure built at the turn of the 20th century (about 1905). The building was first used as a Chinese laundry— serving local Chinese men mining gold from nearby Rock Creek. The Lum family ran the laundry until about 1927, when the building was bought by a local man and turned into a family home. It then went through many owners, and  became a business in the 1980’s.

We bought the building in 2004 and after extensive renovations, opened for business in 2005. It is a great spot to stop for exceptional coffee and food.

 

 

We have a large outdoor patio, a great spot to meet with friends and enjoy a nice coffee and an enjoyable lunch.
